Facility Reviews
Toronto's newest pool is a bit disappointing. The pool itself is fine, though it is an interior pool with no natural light. The locker rooms are universal (gender-neutral), so one changes in a changing cabin and then uses a locker to store clothes. Bring your own lock. The showers are also all-access, so you must keep your swimsuit on. There is a large, private accessible changing room/shower. When I tried it, however, the door did not lock. There are no hair dryers – there's only one, chest-high, hand dryer in the common area which is useless to dry hair. There are also no outlets to plug in your own hair dryer, except in the accessible changing room. It is tricky to find and access, due to extensive construction all around. All in all, there are some deficits in design and functionality.
