Facility Reviews
It's a lovely pool, built around 2012, on third floor. It gets crowded in evening, particularly when classes take up several lanes.

This was surprisingly a good pool - indoors, upstairs, in the middle of Madrid. Five lanes set out as six so the lines on the bottom don't match the lane ropes... It was quite busy but I suspect I hit the lunchtime rush. The water temperature was fine; it felt a bit warmish but it was a very warm day and I've felt a lot worse. There were fast, medium, and slow lanes and people were polite and let me pass. They all did freestyle in the fast lane, which is always a good start. At €5 it was good value and the facilities were good. If you're travelling with someone who doesn't swim they can't sit poolside and watch. Take a padlock for your locker.

Rating: 7 on a scale of 10. Super crowded. Never fewer than four swimmers per lane late on a weekend or holiday day, and nights there were nine per lane. Mornings at around 10 AM produced slightly less pressure but still three per lane. Cap required.

It's a nice pool, but I agree with the other reviews about the crowds. I've been swimming mornings at about 7:30 and it's never less than three per lane. If you don't bring a lock they'll lend you one. Swim caps are mandatory.

I swam at this pool while on a business trip to Madrid in September, 2015. As per the other reviews, it was busy, but it's a very nice facility. Swim caps are required and can be purchased at the pool for €5.00. At 7 AM there was a Master's class and a swim class taking two lanes, but it was manageable. There were approximately five to seven swimmers per lane in the open lanes. It's worth a visit. The water temperature was appropriate for good workout, and the facilities were clean.

I went at about 17:00 on a weekday. The pool was too crowded for the front desk to sell a ticket. The receptionist said that the pool staff let the front desk know when to stop/resume the flow of people upstairs. They let me in because I was clueless and from out of town, but it was crowded. The website has a lane chart, and this shows that three of the six lanes are almost always taken up by classes. The staff told me that classes end at 21:00, and between then and the pool closure at 22:30 (the facility closes 23:00), there's never any problem.

I swam here at 10 AM on an October Sunday. The entry is on the third floor and the pool is on the roof, one flight up from the locker rooms and entry. To enter, first go to the kiosk machine and get a ticket for an entrada. Present the ticket to the lady in the booth, she will take your €5.00 and let you in. Swim caps and shower/deck sandals are required. Bring your own lock.
As mentioned in an earlier review, they've made six lanes out of a pool striped for five, so don't follow the stripes! There were four or five swimmers per lane at first, but that dwindled to two or three by about 11:30 AM. Definitions of rapido vary. Most people were good about letting you pass on the wall.
It's a great location, just off the Calle Gran Via - very convenient. It's a very functional facility.

This is a nice, clean but crowded facility. On December 31, there were four to six swimmers per lane, with the swimmers in the Rapido/Fast Lane pretty moderate, at best. A swim cap is required; bring or buy a lock at 5€ each.
