Facility Notes
The "ranzzzurra.it" web domain covers two different locations: One in Venice Lido (this listing) and another in Conegliano. The domain has three sections for the two pools: http://ranazzurra.it/ is the most recent and covers only the Conegliano location; http://conegliano.ranazzurra.it/ is an older version of that site and is probably out of date; the third section is the one referenced as the "website" of this listing: http://lido.ranazzurra.it/. This link may also be out of date, but it's the best one we could find for this location. The second and third sections may have cross links to each other that can get confusing.
This facility also has a Facebook page. The website links on the Facebook page point to the new Conegliano website, but shows the physical address and other contact information for the Venice Lido location.
Facility Reviews
I had the perfect swim here. It's a really nice facility; the staff was friendly to a clueless foreigner; the locker rooms were spotless; and the pool itself is clean, modern, and bathed in sunlight. I had to share a lane but with only one other person, and everyone seemed to be politely circular swimming. The water felt warm on a chilly late autumn day; my guess is it was about 84ºF (29ºC).
Bring your own lock and towel, and make sure to take off your shoes and put them in the cubby as soon as you enter the locker room.
