Facility Notes
Pool 1 and the diving pool constitute the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Pools 2 and 3 are the Recreation Natatorium. Pool 2 is used primarily for lap swimming. Pool 3 is used primarily for instruction, but is often available for lap swimming. All of the pools are in the university's RPAC Building
Regarding visitor admissions, a swimmer who wrote to correct the information we had published in this listing told us "You must have an Ohio State student or faculty member sponsor you to get in. This is not a deal breaker. You can grab a student walking by to sponsor you. The guest fee is $10.00." [March, 2017]
Facility Reviews
Just a beautiful facility.

This is an amazing facility - world class. It can be crowded at times but there are usually no more than two swimmers per lane; unannounced maintenance is typical. The main workhorse pools are the two lap pools, not the competitive pool. The locker room and showers are good. Parking can be a real challenge for public; there are limited pay parking spaces north of the RPAC on the east side of Ohio Stadium. There is also a parking garage south of the RPAC (Neil Ave. parking garage) but it is not open to the public until 4 or 4:30PM. [July, 2015]
