Facility Reviews
This is an old public pool with lots of peeling paint and not in a great shape. There was scaffolding on the sides of the pool the week I was there and the water was so warm that it was hard to swim in it. I was glad that there was a pool in Estoril, but the temperature of the water was challenging. The staff were all super nice, in spite of us not speaking the same languages. Swim caps are mandatory but, when I came without one on my first visit, I was given one by a person working there - not just to use that day, but to keep.
In summer (until 22 August) the pool is open to the public only on weekdays (9 AM - 8 PM); there is no swimming there on weekends. According to the Associação Humátaria de Bombeiros dos Estoris website's Schedule regular hours should be 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week thereafter.
