Facility Notes
*A site user sent us a note to tell us that the pool is actually 49.97-metres long, rather than the 50-metres shown, as Mel Lastman, the Mayor of North York at the time, did not want it to be used for competition. He had them make it 3-cm short. It is also very shallow, as it was built on top of the parking garage.
Your Swimmers Guide editor has not been able to verify this information, but it may explain why the pool is almost never used for competitive events.

Facility Reviews
They have so many kids programs and older people swimming in it, they keep the pool insanely hot!! They have an advanced junior swim program with national-calibre athletes who work out two hours every day - I don't know how they do it in the soup.
Douglas Snow Aquatic Centre is large and generally busy, but great if you want to do some serious swimming!
This pool is packed like sardines, at all times, and the water is extremely warm.
