Facility Reviews
The change rooms and bathrooms are usually dirty. It's scary filthy and really sad.
The change rooms are as clean as any other pool I’ve been to. This pool is many years older than the other pools in the city and may appear less clean than it really is.
I agree with the first review of the centre. The bathroom and the shower room are dirty every day. There’s also lots of debris in the pool: paint from the pool walls, bandages, rubber bands, etc. This is not a safe and healthy environment.
As the oldest pool facility in the city, it is the biggest and has plenty of options for your swimming level. The change rooms are older but anytime I have been there (many times in the past 20 years) I have not found it to be any worse than any other pool, unless its during the leisure times, when there are generally more children around. Otherwise it's an OK place to go.

With recent renovations, the change rooms are clean and really nice now. The air quality also seems to have improved, since the recent renovations (fingers crossed it stays that way!)

I have recently moved to the city and started using Lawson right away. I was concerned at first because of the reviews, but I found the place to be the exact opposite. The change rooms/showers were very clean (I have been in pool facilities for 20+years). The pools themselves and the rest of the facility are well above standard.
