Facility Notes
Panama's national currency, the Balboa (PAB) trades at par with the U.S. Dollar, which is used extensively throughout the country.
NOTE: In February, 2024, we were advised that You need to make a reservation online before coming to swim here, a situation that is complicated by the fact the you need to use "Yappy", a local money transfer portal, to pay. If you do not have a bank account in Panamá, it becomes more difficult. There is a building near the basketball court where you can pay in person. You are supposed to have a reservation but the people were pretty lenient for us the first couple of times. Reservations are typically for one hour but, since there’s a 30-minute transition between sessions, you can actually stay a little bit longer.
Facility Reviews
This is a very nice 50-meter pool. All the people that work here are great but they do not speak a lot of English. The pool is warm because it’s heated by the sun. I’m guessing around 82°.
