Facility Notes
The pool is irregularly shaped and 37 - 38 metres long, but a fixed wall and five lane lines have been marked on the bottom to create the lap swimming area. If you check the Targeted Google Maps Link, above, and zoom in closely, the lane lines can just barely be seen, but they're quite clear in the photographs associated with that link.
Facility Reviews
Fantastic original seaside baths, best in spring and autumn when the crowds are thin. In summer go early or late and avoid weekend afternoons. Too many kids make lane swimming difficult in peak summer, but the rest of the time you can manage laps with ease. Great outlook to one of Sydney's classic beaches. At times, near high tide, if there's a large swell, small waves of up to ½m can break over the edge of the pool, but it's unsafe only during times of 3m+ waves along coast (about 1 - 3 days per year).
