Facility Reviews
A good place to swim. Good water temperature. During the year they offer activities such as aqua-stretching, aqua-gym, and adult and children's swimming lessons. In addition to the pools, there is also a gymnasium.
This pool would be suitable for visitors staying in the tourist areas of Triana, Vegueta, or San Telmo Park, as the other local pools are either private (CN Metropol), season ticket only (Centro Insular de Deportes), or have restricted ticket arrangements (Julio Navarro).
It is located in Las Rehoyas Park, in a residential area, a short but steep walk inland from San Telmo Park, and is accessible by bus numbers 8, 9, 30, 80, 81, 82, 90, and 91.
The pool opened in 2003 and is a pleasant place to swim. It has full length windows that look out onto the park. The water is clean and reasonably warm. There are lockers that take a €1 coin. You must wear a swim hat, flip flops are desirable, and there is a shower poolside. It is advisable to ring to check opening times.
