Facility Reviews
I visited this pool on a Tuesday morning, after checking it out the night before. During the morning, from opening at 7 to 8 AM or so, the definition of 'lane swimming' is a bit loose: there was only one lane rope in, which I guess was for the 'faster' swimmers; everyone else was swimming laps, insofar as they were going back and forth, but mostly breaststroke and mostly talking as they went. It seemed a very 'social' sort of swimming. That said, the facility is quite nice. When I went to see the pool the evening before, around 8 PM, all the lanes were in and there were maybe four to six per lane, swimming fairly vigorously. But no one was doing flip turns and everyone seemed bunched together. In general, if you want to just loosen up and swim some laps in a nice pool, with nice people, this will do. Just don't expect to have the space to do a real workout or train during those hours. [November, 2013]
