Facility Reviews
I'm a San Francisco resident and just swam at MLK for first time, today. It's a great pool! The water was clean! The lanes are 25y with no ropes, so you just swim back and forth, no circle swimming. The pool has good lap swim hours; it's nice not having to share the pool with other activities. The locker rooms were clean and the staff was great.
It's in a neighborhood that a visitor might not find easily, though with the new 3rd Street T Line Muni, you can get there and back from downtown easily. And there's lots of street parking. If you're a local, it's well worth the effort to swim here.
